Signs of worn suspension or steering

Shock absorbers, springs and arms

Broken coil springs are surprisingly common, and worn shock absorbers make a car less stable and stop it braking as well as it should. We replace shock absorbers, springs and suspension arms, including their bushes and ball joints where needed.

Steering repairs and wheel bearings

We carry out steering repairs on all makes and models and replace worn wheel bearings. If uneven wear has already damaged your tyres, we can supply and fit new tyres at the same time.

Suspension and your MOT

Worn joints, broken springs, leaking shock absorbers and corroded mounting points are among the most common reasons for an MOT failure. If your car has failed on suspension or steering, we can put it right and arrange the retest through our MOT repair service. Corroded mounts may need welding repairs, which we also carry out.
