What the job involves

We usually fit a complete kit (friction plate, pressure plate and release bearing) so all the wearing parts are new together. While the gearbox is out we check the flywheel; some cars, especially diesels, have a dual-mass flywheel that can also wear. If it needs replacing, we will tell you and include it in the quote before carrying on.
